To wrap up Fed Square’s Little Food Festival, food personality and teacher Alice Zaslavsky with Curriculum Specialist Beverley Laing, will show how to tickle kids’ tastebuds for learning using Phenomenom’s free digital toolkit of springboard videos, podcast and curriculum-aligned lesson plans at home and in the classroom.
A panel discussion will follow, featuring Head of ABC Digital Education Annabel Astbury and children’s health and nutrition expert teacher Kelly Fullerton, led by Eventful Learning Co.’s Summer Howarth.
The workshop and panel are designed to help teachers and parents of 8-14 year olds find ways to cultivate their curiosity around food and the world around them.
To cap it all off, attendees will have their own tastebuds tickled by Melbourne’s best cheese toasties, courtesy of Maker & Monger.
